Functional Responsibilities

Summary of Functions: 1. Services of Support in Transactional Acquisitions
Complete the documents to prepare/process purchase orders, contracts, LTAS and other requests.
Build/Improve and maintain the database of local data, ensuring frequent updating of the information.
Updating and maintaining information on the database and all archives and acquisition records.
2. Planning of acquisitions, requirements and withdrawals.Collaboration with project personnel and managers in the preparation of your acquisition plan, contracts, administration and monitoring of all those related to acquisitions for a specific geographic area or project activity.
Maintain and update the procurement monitoring processes for projects and provide feedback on purchase orders to the soliciting office.
Provide proposals to entities that require information on how to provide goods, works, and services, including procurement deadlines for each stage.
3. Auction processesPreparation of lists of suitable/proven contracts for the value of the candidates designated for approval of the official appointee.
In conjunction with the areas requesting the programs/operations, submit, review and evaluate offers or requests received and prepare analysis for the complete details, recognition of contracts, present the CPC or other, legally authorized designation.
4. Administration of Contracts Supports the efficient administration of contracts, entered into the log of the following results:Monitoring the signing of contracts by suppliers.
Verification and commitment of funds in the system and obtaining of approved firms for approval. Publication of awards and contracts
5. Management of Work TeamsFacilitate commitment and provide high quality results and supervised team services through effective work planning, desperation management, coaching and promotion of learning and development.

Qualifications and Educational Experience:
Completion of secondary school is required.
A first-level university degree (equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree) preferably in Procurement and/or Supply Chain Management, Law, Commerce, Business Administration, Public Administration, Finance, Economics or another related field is desirable and may substitute for some of the years of experience.
Relevant certifications in procurement and supply chain management (CIPS or similar) are a distinct advantage.
Experience:
Experience working with a variety of representatives in developing countries is desirable.
Some experience in United Nations system agencies is desirable.
Experience in handling computers and office software packages, such as documents, Google Suite spreadsheets or MS Office in turn
Experience in the use of organizational systems (ERPs) is desirable.
Language:Fluency in Spanish
Intermediate level of English proficiency will be valued

Contract type, level and duration
